Внешний вид и подготовка к работе
Все-таки при первом взгляде на изображение светильника он скорее вызывает ассоциации не с жуком, а с маской фехтовальщика. И лишь повертев световой прибор в руках, приходиться признать, что это название ему очень даже к лицу. Со степенью защиты IP54, «вечными» светодиодами, ударопрочным рассеивателем и нижним значением рабочей температуры аж -55ºС, этот малыш создает впечатление действительно неубиваемого светового прибора. А вот станет ли этот жук таким же бестселлером, как и его знаменитый тезка от автоконцерна Фольксваген - покажет время. Во всяком случае, в простоте эксплуатации они схожи. Для подготовки к работе требуется лишь снять нижнюю крышку с герметичной втулкой, раскрутив 4 винта, пропустить сетевой кабель и подключить его к клеммной колодке. А вот при установке светильника появляются неудобства. Во-первых, намечать отверстия для сверления на опорной поверхности потолка или стены не очень удобно - в лапках светильника отверстия для винтов всего 5 мм и достаточно глубокие, чтобы можно было воспользоваться карандашом. Во-вторых, закручивая винт, отвертку приходится держать немного под углом от светильника - мешает крышка рассеивателя.
Материалы и комплектующие
Корпус светильника сделан из литого алюминия и покрыт порошково-полимерным лакокрасочным покрытием. При этом корпус выполняет еще и функции радиатора. Рассеиватель выполнен из ударопрочного оптического поликарбоната и крепится к корпусу вандалоустойчивыми крепежными элементами. Под рассеивателем расположена алюминиевая плата с SMD светодиодами. Качество материалов и уровень сборки позволяют производителю заявлять о гарантийном сроке работы прибора 36 месяцев.
Эксплуатационные характеристики
Все что может потребовать себе BUG во время работы - это периодически протирать рассеиватель от пыли и грязи. Потребляя 9 Вт мощности, светильник BUG 600 имеет световой поток 580 лм.
